RFG seeing relaxing debt and M&A markets

Valuations for the Skilled Nursing sector peaked at an eight-year high in 2007, with valuations not seen since the late 1990s.  In 2012, RFG sees an improving market from the lackluster one we have experienced over the past 3 years.  With bank credit returning, and interest rates at an all time low, RFG, borrowers and buyers are able to transact again with confidence.  As a result of improved  credit availability, the M&A market is expected to loosen, and the "bid / ask" spread will narrow, allowing more deals to get done and funded.

The capital markets have evolved over recent years from a tight credit environment to one that is more reasonable and open. This positive trend took hold in 2011, and is continuing. RFG recommends to clients that diversifying their lending sources to gain access to attractive capital sources is important in both in good and difficult markets.
